Another great film that Aaron and I watched last night. We couldn’t decide whether the main character (I just realised you never find out his name! He’s just called ‘Driver’) was incredibly deep, or just a bit of a psychotic simpleton…
either way, great film! Aaron particularly liked the soundtrack and the stylised 80’s-ness of it all. I didn’t really enjoy the gore, but the film as a whole had a great feel.

Aaron always shows me the best things!
Last night we watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - an intense and tragic story of love, honour, destiny… and completely kick-ass action scenes. I dare anyone to watch this film and not be moved by it!
Highly recommended if you love World Cinema or not. Just amazing :)
I’ve already wasted my whole life. I want to tell you with my last breath that I have always loved you… Because of your love, I will never be a lonely spirit.

A Grey Day on Whitstable Beach
Here is a fantastic oil painting by my very talented friend Neil Pitcher. It was copied from a photograph I took of the beach during rough and stormy weather, which Neil has captured wonderfully!
Can’t wait to see what else is in store :) x

Here’s a funny short animation I saw recently at Exeter University’s Film Studies awards night…
“Ted is a teddy who can’t bear the thought of living on. Consigned to a life abandoned and unloved in a box under the bed by his neglectful owner (whose love now lies with her shoe collection) he decides to top himself - a tall order for a magical bear.”
My first ever Tumblr post!
Thought maybe I would start by posting a photo of my lovely lovely dog Cassie, who passed away last year. I had her since I was 5, and she was our family’s best friend for 15 years :)
I loved how excited she used to get about her ‘walkies’, her ears would prick up and she would jump up and down in crazy circles! She was always there to give us a warm welcome when we got home, too :) She was a silly dog, and always there for you when you needed cuddles. I love her and miss her so much still.
Have fun in heaven Cassie Dog <3 xxxxx
